One Thousand True Fans

An article was referred to me by a another human called something like “1000 True Fans Is All You Need”.

What’s the jig?

Well, it basically purports to say that in order for a creative person/s, whether they be musicians, artists, comedians, obscure online bloggers or public personalities, to be able to fully make a living doing their own creative endeavours, they need ‘only’ 1000 true fans.

It goes on further to say: these 1000 fans will probably pay a minimum of 100 dollars per year on your creations. That’s at least 100,000 dollars guaranteed every year. Hell, even if you only have 500 true fans, that’s 50 grand straight into the ol’ bankeroo!

It sounds too good to be true. I mean, I have 430 followers, and I’ve yet to see a single penny out of any of you lot! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Does anybody know if this is true, or does anyone have proof that this is the case? Any success stories?

Bye. ย
