Football Fantasy Team (again)

Here’s my team for the upcoming week of Premier League games beginning this Saturday.

Clyne          Jones          Stones          Ivanovic

Silva          Ramsey

Herrera          Coutinho          Hazard

There you go. All the big names in this team this week. This strategy, of choosing only the best players in the league, doesn’t always work. Ideally I’d have a front 3 of Kane, Aguero and Giroud, but Aguero hasn’t scored in a long time and his team (Manchester City) aren’t performing that well. So I’ve packed the midfield with 5 players, each of them is a solid playmaker who can score goals and set up goals regularly. In defence, Ivanovic is a no-brainer (he’s scored more goals than most forwards this season), Jones is great, Stones is a joy to watch blocking all the shots and reading the game better than most defenders in the league who are 5 to 10 years older than him. Joe Hart is the keeper, and I’ve never changed him for anyone else, just nice to have England’s national goalkeeper in there.

Is this team good?

Does anyone else do this sort of Premier league fantasy team stuff? I can send you some links to our own private league if you do.
